Important Announcement: A new app update is available!

Big things are happening at Pop HQ! The Team’s been spending long hours working on the game! It seems like at least one office’s light is on at any given time and the coffee pot’s drained mere seconds after a fresh batch has been made. Although we can’t share everything as it’s happening, we have some exciting news that we’re thrilled to share with you! Let’s bring everyone up to speed.
Most importantly, THE POPTROPICA MOBILE APPS HAVE BEEN UPDATED!! Now, the game’s web and mobile versions are exactly the same! ?
Update your Poptropica app (App Store; Google Play) to play upcoming special events and releases on mobile! You can also play Goofball and Fairytale Island – 2021’s dream islands are available to ALL PLAYERS! The new synchronized versions of Poptropica allow us to release new content (future islands, Baron visits, and special events) and give you easier access to your player profile across all platforms. The mobile app’s character costumizer has also been revamped to match the web display!
The update improves our Team’s ability to address individual players’ experience. Having several versions of the game required high volumes of maintenance per player. The previously unsynchronized game prevented our Team from updating mobile to include recent releases and limited time special events. Although the mobile app’s update included some unpopular changes, we can now focus on bringing you a new and improved experience!
In fact, we’ve been working on several projects that we’re delighted to be able to share! Here’s one we’re sure you’ve all been waiting for…
Episode 2 of PoptropiCon will be coming to desktop and mobile later this month!! Ep. 2: Spoiler Alert ushers us inside the convention – through a catapult and broken window. But even that’s not enough to ruin the day! Prepare to head inside to get the full Con feel, complete with superhero squads, trading cards, and costume contest!
In addition to PoptropiCon: Spoiler Alert, we’re pleased to announce that Secret of the Jade Scarab, 2021’s final dream island, is also in development for ALL PLAYERS! WOOO! ?
To recap – update your mobile app to access future releases, limited time special events, and the store’s weekly inventory changes!

Thanks Pop! Good to have an explanation on what happened to the app! Although I am glad that PoptropiCon 2 and Jade Scarab Island will be released soon, many people (including me) used the app JUST to play the older islands and episodic islands. Also the wheel and customizer are also two other things players liked about the app. So please bring those features back. Also, when will Mission Atlantis and Arabian Nights be free to everyone??? I currently am a member myself, but I know how frustrating it is when the islands are RIGHT there, but you can't play it. I think a couple months is enough, and it should be released to everyone. Hope you read my comment! 😀

That's the most depressing thing I've heard in my life. I guess it's exciting that Poptropicon 2 is coming out, and I hope all the members enjoy, because it's not going to be for us lowly folk... Also, Secret of the Jade Scarab sounds pretty intriguing... hmmm

Yay finally, because I couldn’t finish poptropicon.2 before haxe and I am also excited for Secret of Jade Scarab.
So like....Survival island...anything on that?
Sigh. I'm happy yet sad. The mobile version had islands! Also, poptropicon 2: Please don't change it. Don't make it the new goofy poptropica, where the sound effects and the goofy expressions take out the glory from the past.
