The Creators’ Team is delighted to see all your enthusiasm and creative ideas that you’ve been sharing with the community lately! In fact, we can’t get enough.
We’ve had a special project in the works for a while now that’s finally ready to be revealed… Without further ado, ALL Poptropicans are invited to participate in the monthly costume contest!!
If you'd like to see YOUR IDEA in the Poptropica store, *this* is the way to do it! Do you wish you could match your favorite outfit with your Popsona? Do you fantasize about streetwear? Maybe you’d love to see some goth gear?
In the past, our official costume contests were held occasionally. This time, we’re reviving the costume competition to continue on a monthly basis, to give you the opportunity to turn your designs into a reality, visibly contribute to the game itself, and most importantly, share your ideas to millions across the community!
Your costume submission should be original!
- Get creative! Look for inspiration in your favorite looks that you can put your own spin on! From TV/film, magazines, your personal wishlist outfits, career uniforms, and celebrity sightings, you can find express your individuality through just about anything!
- Costumes may also include accessories and special powers.
- While designing your entry, be sure it can be reproduced as a Poptropica Costume. Avoid including tiny details would be hard to recreate and using previous store costumes. Where’s the fun in that?
The monthly costume contest will close in 2 weeks, on Monday, June 7th at 8pm PST! Enter your costume creations via our submissions page! Be sure to include your Poptropican’s name and your login username. Please be aware that there is a three entry maximum per person each month. The winning costume will be available to all players upon its release!
Share your costume design on Instagram after entering the contest from the submissions page! Use #MyPoptropicaCostume and tag us @poptropicacreators so others can see your work!

The costume contest will continue on an ongoing, monthly basis. Players may submit 3 entries for each month's 2 week submission period. Hope that helps!
Super cool! I almost forgot about the old costume contests! This is gonna be great! One thing though, can we PLEASE have a winning costume that won't mess up your signature hair and skin color this time? Thanks!

In case anyone is wondering what I'm talking about, the last winning costume was the lightning wielder. That was the one where your skin and hair color changed when you push the button.

I'm glad Poptropica still exists and is doing some cool new things! I've been a player for over 10 years now and it's been sad to see the old islands go (will they be back?) but it's cool that now there are ways to stay unvolved outside the game.
Can we have matching outfits to go with themes and islands to go in the poptropica island store? ( Maybe we can also add matching pets to go with it! )

The winning design will be announced on the blog before the costume is available in game! The Baron usually visits at the beginning of each month, so you'll be able to buy the free costume then :-)
I hope mine wins, I worked for a whole month on it! I didn't finish it in time for last month's costume contest but I just did!
