Rumpel’s Challenge is a new, members-only side quest that continues the tale and explores the unanswered questions left behind by Rumpelstiltskin! Much like his arrival, the magic man vanished in a mysterious frenzy, upending lives and stealing happy endings. There’s been talk about the fates of the still missing king, permanently weeping prince, and the island's nervous citizens. But this story is far from over. Some may have reclaimed their good fortune, but that doesn’t mean all the people of Fairytale Island will get to live happily ever after.
Luckily, it won’t be long until the newest installment of Fairytale Island is released! It’s almost time to revisit the whimsical world and embark on another adventure. Prepare to come face to face with Rumpelstiltskin himself in Rumpel’s Challenge! But, remember to heed Amelia’s warning – “never trust a magic man.”
In the meantime, here’s a small sneak peek into the future of Fairytale! Hmm… who might this be?!

Same I wish it was for non-members but all the non-member poptropicans are sad.At first I was very excited and when I read¨for members only¨ I was disappointed.

To all the people in the comments who are sad and complaining about it being for members only. I am most definitely sure it will be open to non-members at some point in the future. Idk how long after it's release, but the creators are not that evil. All you need is patience!
This is super dissapointing for me as only members will get to play the mini quest and the non members will be left hanging. Not your best move Poptropica.
That’s a rude move. The difference between your old island having membership side quests is that the stories were completed and you didn’t NEED to do the quest. But you pulled an EA and created an uncompleted island and instead of finishing, it you charge people for the full island. Imagine if you made Astro knights and you got to the ice planet and binary bard was like “woah! You may have the upper hand. But this isn’t the last you’ve seen!” And ended it there
Agreed. I'm very upset and disappointed. I can see why Poptropica is doing it, but it's not fair for the rest of us 'non-members.'
I am guessing that Poptropican is Princess Aurora. I mean, the obsession with cute furry animals and curly hair look like something I can see Princess Aurora having. Maybe raising herself instead of the fairies? I can see her being a totally awesome forest warrior beating up unicorns. Fairytale Island Part 2 looks great, too bad the bonus quest in members only!

I think that cat princess lady could be related to the king in some sort of way? A king can't be a king without his wife, and no one ever mentioned he had a wife, or even the prince having a mom, which could also be an entire different story. It would be good to mention her right now and fill the plot holes. After all, I've never really heard of any real fairy tale princesses battling unicorns and being obsessed with cats, as shown in the pictures. Maybe that lady was kidnapped, or just never mentioned? Only time will tell.

I am a member and ill tell all of you about the side quest before it ever reaches you.
You go to greek mythology island and go to the museum of olympus to get the first clue.
Then go to time tangled island to the time of vikings go to the far right up where the rocks are blocking the enterance for the next clue which will point you back to fairy tale island.
Go to where the prince is crying it'll take you inside the castle where the king is imprisoned. Jump over the gold and go all the way down to where the king is imprisoned.
Make sure the prince cries on the purple powerline where the king is and the toilet above it then he will be free. The king will talk about the queen is coming they'll both cry because she is a conqueror and you get 2000 credits.
