We’re challenging all Poptropicans to participate in a new Fairytale Fanfic Challenge!
The Fairytale Fanfic Challenge gives you the opportunity to write your own original ending for Fairytale Island!! You have free reign to decide the characters’ destinies and resolve any unanswered questions, however you see fit. You’re more than welcome to create an elaborate ending that ties up any loose ends or write a simple, short conclusion to the Island! As a reward, winners chosen from the submission pool will receive FREE CREDITS and will be featured on the Creators' Blog!!
We’ve seen all of your comments and questions about Fairytale Island’s cliffhanger. We know the Island’s ending leaves a lot of questions unanswered.

The Fairytale Fanfic Challenge submission window begins today and ends next Friday, May 21st at 8pm PST! To enter, submit your fanfic writing at poptropica.com/submissions/ as text or as a file attachment, and your entry will be entered into the challenge pool!

The previous challenge winners were chosen by random draw because we wanted to make the contest a level playing field for everyone that entered. The Poptropica community is made up of individuals of a variety of different ages, abilities, and overall skill levels. The random drawing was intentionally chosen to give all participants a shot at winning and reward everyone that put in effort. We understand that some would prefer that the winners be chosen based solely on creativity and talent. So, for the upcoming Fairytale Fanfic Challenge, we do not plan to select winners by random draw. Â Â
