I'm not sure, but I think candy craze is about a land made of candy with candy residents that are being eaten by the villain of the story and they need the player to rescue them... Dot and Gummy might be the "pets" of candy land.

You said "Candy Crazed wouldn't be complete WITH Dot and Gummy." That means they don't help with completing the mini-quest. You should've said "without Dot and Gummy." ?
