Summer Release- House Expansions, Colorizer, Outfits and More!
Poptropicans- we heard you, so we delivered! There’s been a #NewPopDrop in Poptropica Worlds and IT IS BIG! Some of the most requested features by you- the Avatar Colorizer AND color-changing outfits are now available in Poptropica Worlds! Explore islands in style with your fully customized Poptropican.
Finally, the long awaited, FIRST EVER, House Expansion. This exotic new beach-themed room also unlocks 19 beach décor items for you to use and decorate your Home. Keep reading below to check out some of these awesome room additions.

House Expansion— Many of you have been wondering what lies behind the mysterious locked doors in your Poptropica Worlds’ Homes. It’s time to let you all in on the FIRST secret...
A Beach themed House expansion! Now you never have to “really” leave the sunny shores of Home Island. First, find the key that unlocks this new room by going to the Décor Shop and selecting the farthest right tab with a key symbol on it.
Once you gain access to this oasis of a room, it also gives you access to 19 new beach-themed décor items. Look for the decorations marked by the blue banner and key symbol in the store.
Hot Off the Shelves: So far, some of the most popular items are the pineapple wallpaper, potted palm trees, the hammock, exotic ceiling fan, and the porch beach chair. Although personally, I am stocking up on beach balls. I am also OBSESSED with the beach window looking at Palm Trees. The view’s so clear I think can almost see 24 Carrot Island from here!
Poptropican Colorizer— Thanks to the expansive new Colorizer, your Poptropican can now rock any vibrant color you could hope for! Head straight to your Closet and just tap the new, rightmost tab with the paint-bucket symbol. From here you can change your skin and hair color at any time to anything! Now your Poptropican can truly be customized just as you want them to be! The Colorizer allows you to truly have endless options!
Pro Tip: Heads up, if you do select a new color, you will not be able to return to the original one, if it is not supplied in the basic color scheme you have available to you.
Color Changing Outfits— Speaking of crazy colors, don’t miss the sleek and dazzling new threads in the Poptropica Worlds Clothing Store. Head to there today to check out these eye-catching outfits. First off, how cool is it that these outfits change color? Really are a must have. Second, regardless of your Poptropican gender, Pop Worlds allows you to buy either outfit!
New Avatar Store Releases— Discover 8 ALL-NEW summer-themed clothes for your Poptropican! Whether you want to have some fun in the sun, enjoy a picnic or show off your style, there’s something for everyone! My Poptropican was first in line to try on these fabulous new pieces, and I’m loving them all! My first summer stop was the beach, and I grabbed some new pink shades, an ice cream cone and a sunhat to get outside to catch some rays! And of course my summer look wouldn’t be complete without a pair of gladiator sandals! Try mixing and matching different pieces to give your Poptropican a unique flare.

Amazing! I love it! Hey, what's new on The End of Time? You should make an island on more of the books! Who agrees?
I've given up on posting using my Wordpress so I'm gonna try Google-don't fail me now! Thanks for allowing us to comment :D. Not a fan of this update honestly. Although this blog post has managed to get from point A to Point B without a single mention of it, membership is required for most of the update's content. 4 of the 8 new summer outfits in full? Need membership for this. Color changing parts of color changing outfits? Need membership for that. Need more room for your house decore with the house expansion? Too bad, membership required. But worst of all - the colorizer, the original Poptropica feature that allowed every player to change skin tones on the fly, is now a membership only feature. Ye will be missed dearly, free Poptropican skin tone customization.
I like it. But hoping to get even more.
Membership is the worst update of Poptropica. ¿Why can't you find other ways to earn money? Some people, (like me) have parent's that don't want to waste their money on a virtual "vip pass".Poptropica would be a lot better without membership.
Will non-members get anything out of the new updates?

Hi Supertalkcam, if you wanted to change up the color of your Poptropican’s skin or hair, non-members still have access to the standard Colorizer. We hope you check it out!

It’s almost here, Cotton Candy! “The End of Time” will be available September 12th, glad to hear you’re as anxiously anticipating the new Poptropica book as much as we are. That’s an awesome suggestion for an Island too, we’ll forward it along, as our development team loves hearing such ideas.
Hi Awesome Friendly Girl, with this recent update to Poptropica Worlds, there are some new features available for non-members. Starting with 4 summer-themed outfits, 7 pieces from the color changing costumes and the standard Colorizer to update your Poptropican’s hair and skin. We hope you enjoy!
I love the new update! I'm a little disappointed with most of the new items being members-only, but I'm really glad that the colorizer is here! Say, @PoptropicaBlogger, will Poptropica still be getting new islands? Are there any islands in the work right now?
P.S. It'd be nice if the customizer was in PW and we could chat freely.. ?
Hi YujoJacyCoyote & Elvira, thank you both for letting us know each of your thoughts. We understand how those extra features being members-only might have come as a surprise.
To clear things up with the latest update: non-members can still access the Colorizer’s standard palette of colors for both their Poptropican’s skin and hair. Also, in addition to the 4 summer-themed outfits one of you mentioned, 7 items from the color changing costumes are available! We firmly believe in making a free game that can be enjoyed by all. At the same time, we do need to monetize our game (as do all companies). We take pride in the high quality art and production of Poptropica and all of that comes at a high production cost. All the amazing people that work at Poptropica (and there’s many of us!) do not work for free.
So that’s why we use a membership model similar to many other online games. And why members get special perks to give their membership value. However, at Poptropica our membership does not infringe on gameplay. We hope you understand that the last thing we’d want is for our amazing fans to feel unhappy with the game. Features will continue to be rolled out for both members and non-members alike.
