Game Questions
Account Information
Can you delete my son / daughter's account for me? Upon successful verification, a Parent can request the password be changed for their child's account rendering the account inaccessible. Accounts that do not have paid credit balances are deleted after 6 months of inactivity. |
Can I change my username and / or password? You can change your password by clicking on the Change Password button on your Stats page. |
I forgot my user name and / or password how can I retrieve it? Unfortunately, if you've forgotten your username or password, there is no way to retrieve it. We do not store any private information about our users. We recommend you create a new avatar and write your username and password down on a piece of paper and keep it in a safe place! |

Your Poptropican
I created a cool character, but how can I save my game? To save your game, click on the "Save" button in the bottom right corner. Then, create a username and password. After that, you will need to click the "Save and Quit" button to save your current progress. If you exit Poptropica and you want to continue playing your saved game, just click on the "Returning Player" button, then enter your username and password. |
Your inventory
One of the cards in my inventory won't work on every island. Why is that? Some items and abilities gained in-game are only accessible to use on certain islands. If your character has gained a jetpack and can fly, the jetpack may only be usable on the island it was retrieved. Items purchased in the Poptropica Store can be used across all islands! |

If you keep returning to your saved game, your character and items will always be available. If you don't return for 6 months, your game is removed from Poptropica. |
Playing the game

In order to create a Multiverse room, you must purchase the Multiverse card in the Poptropica store. Once you have purchased the card, go to your inventory. Under "Purchased Items", select the Multiverse card and click the "Create" button. When the Multiverse screen appears, you can choose from a variety of Multiverse themed rooms. Once you have chosen a theme, click the "Create" button, and your Poptropican will enter your new room. |
How can I invite other people to my room? Once you have created a Multiverse room, you will be given a "Room Code" at the bottom right of your screen. Share this code with your friends if you would like them to join your room. Only 9 users may occupy a Multiverse room at a time. Only users who have purchased the Multiverse card can access your Multiverse. Once you have left your Multiverse room, the Room Code will expire. |
How do I Join a Multiverse room? Once you have received a Room Code, go to your "Purchased Items" area in your inventory. Select the Multiverse card and click "Create". Once the Multiverse screen appears, type in the Room Code you received into the "Join a room" field. Once you have typed in the code, click "JOIN." |
How do I communicate with others in Poptropica? Poptropica uses a pre-scripted chat system. This means that users are provided with question and answer options to choose from in order to communicate with each other. There is purposely no free chat in Poptropica in order to make our virtual world as safe as possible for kids. To communicate with another user, please visit a "Common" or "Multiverse" room. These rooms are filled with other users. To begin a conversation in a Common or Multiverse room, click on another Poptropican. You will be given the choice to chat, or play a game; choose "chat." Once you have chosen to chat, a series of dialogue boxes will appear. Choose one of the questions to ask the other user. If you receive a question from another user, you can choose from a series of responses. |
How can I travel to a new island? To move from island to island you need to find the Poptropica blimp. On Early Poptropica Island, the blimp is located between the Pop Art Museum and the Soda Pop Shop. Simply climb the rope to enter the blimp, and the Poptropica map will pop-up. Click on the island you want to visit, and the blimp will take you there. |
How do I use the Costumizer tool? The Costumizer tool allows you to customize your outfit by copying clothes and accessories from other characters. Simply click on the shirt icon in the top right corner, then click on the character you want to copy from. |

Credits are used to purchase items (such as costumes or gold cards) in the Poptropica Store for your Poptropican. Credits can be purchased, or you can earn free credits when you complete Islands. |
How can I buy Poptropica credits? You can buy Poptropica credits online through Poptropica. You must be 18 years of age in order to purchase credits, so please ask an adult if you are under 18! |

Can I transfer credits from one account to another? No. When credits are purchased for a Poptropican, they apply to that account only and are non-transferrable. |

What's the difference between purchasing a membership and purchasing credits? Membership allows you access to use ALL gold cards and costumes in the Poptropica Store during the time of your membership. If you choose to end your membership, you no longer have access to the items moved to your Store Items during membership. You will still have any items purchased with credits outside of membership. Poptropica Membership also gives you Early Access to each and every new island, to play and complete before the rest of the world! Credits allow you to purchase items which will remain in your account to use forever. Early Access to new islands is no longer available to purchase with credits, and is only available with membership. |
What is this charge for? Is it a reoccurring charge? All Store Memberships automatically renew at the end of the term. If you wish to cancel your membership at any time, simply log in to your parent account to cancel your automatic renewal. Your membership access will stop at the end of your current cycle, and you will not be billed for renewal. |
